Republican presidential hopeful and billionaire real-estate mogul Donald Trump sent a scathing letter to Univision’s CEO Friday, banning the network’s staff from his Miami golf resort.

Look, bottom line, this is a form of Amnesty. Like it or not...
You can’t play both sides and then claim that Trump is the only one standing up for American workers. Funny, but if you let those in here who work hard, then HOW can you or anyone else criticize Cruz for the H1B visas...when it is doing the same thing?

EVERY GOP CANDIDATE for president is going to give some kind of AMNESTY. Our only choice is to go with the one who will at least secure the border so we don’t get 11 million more and try to get rid of the worst of them.

The thing about Trump is that he will build the wall and probably pay for by selling advertising on it. Fine by me. :-)

This is freerepublic, not DU, GOP candidate Trump being pro-abortion, is most definitely an issue.
Trump disagrees with the GOP platform, and supports abortion.
Of course the 69 year old Trump was also a democrat until 2009, and his favorite president is Bill Clinton.

Trump has opened negotiations for the presidency. He is not running for president he is now negotiating for the position.
So far he has sucked in Hillary, Univision and most of the press into attacking him. He is seeing who is on the playing field. His message is to stand up for the American citizen. this message is resonating above anything else democrat or republican has to say. In just a few weeks he has received tens of millions of dollars of publicity. He has elevated himself to the very top.
Hillary has picked a fight with him and elevated him at her level when she has been soooo careful to avoid any kind of media accountability.
The guy who fires quickly knows media very, very well and he is doing this by design. He is showing Americans he knows how to handle himself and fight.
Americans are starved for a leader like this and no matter how much republicans say they will never vote for him it is those very people who are starved for this message and an easy sale.
This is delicious to watch Trump lead and act like a leader and none of the other democrat and republican wannabes can even match Trump at this level. I can hardly wait to see what happens next. Btw, Mexicans like strong leaders and I would bet that legal immigrants of Mexican descent agree with Trump. Don’t forget that legal immigrants who have worked hard to get where they are will get totally buried by the millions of new immigrants coming in who undercut them and take their jobs.

At the very least give Trump some credit for doing what he is doing now. He is taking on a massive democrat power machine which is very dangerous and brutal.
Trump knows media at a genius level. He is doing what he is doing to suck the media in including Hillary. Hillary who was doing her best to stay above it all is now elevating Trump at her level. No other candidate has been able to do this. He has suckered her in and I can hardly wait to see what he will do with her.

Well said. Trump is consistently misquoted about this. Univision lied intentionally about his stance on illegals by intentionally misquoting him. He never said that the illegal immigrants were all rapists and murders. He said that because there is no border control a lot of criminals are coming in; yet, Univision deliberately changed the meaning to find an issue.
Man! Trump saw through this and saw a huge opportunity to demonstrate to Americans who is the boss and that he can handle himself. It took the jackass at Univision less than 24 hours to issue an apology and Trump said he did not accept it. Trump also saw the opportunity at a lawsuit for breach of contract. Who knows where that will go. It is my guess Univision will back down and Trump will use that as a means of showing the world who is in charge. He will milk it and milk it and milk it.

Some might not realize Univision is really big and targets Spanish folks and others in the U.S. Also long time freelance international CNN correspondent Karl Penhaul was just fired by CNN as he too maliciously slander Trump. “CNN spokesperson tells TVNewser, “Karl Penhaul will no longer be serving in a freelance role for CNN.”
Hmmmmmmmm, Well, he’s still a better choice than rand paul.
As nickcarraway and others have pointed out, this isn’t fighting back, this is just someone who lost his temper.
Look to Cruz to see someone who is actually fighting back.
