Bristol Palin got it very right in her latest blog post. “Tripp, this new baby, and I will all be fine, because God is merciful,” said Palin. God’s got this. Palin may apologize to Him, but she certainly doesn’t owe one to anyone else. Especially those with an agenda bashing her online solely because they already had a visceral hatred for her and her mother.

I hate to say it but I think it has all but taken away all Palin’s credence...wonder if Fox news caught wind of this and then let her go. For other reasons I pretty much hate Fox due to their love of Bush and Murdoch’s love of Clinton.
Well, think about this, at lesat you are helping The Delta Smelt and that Hurts Bristol Palin in some way.

Had they NOT made it public, and “the world” found out later, it would have received no less hatefulness, no less vitriol, no less attention. Probably a lot more and Sarah would have been accused of trying to cover it up, being deceitful, etc. They cannot win, regardless. It is sad, unfortunate, etc. that this happened, but it is the same thing that happens in all the rest of our families every day. They are not gods. They are humans, make the same mistakes, etc. Sarah never once set herself up as a “better than thou” Christian type, it was the media that did that so they could eviscerate her for every family fault that comes to light. Let’s pray for the Palins instead of joining the pack of wolves. The intent of the media is to make her a pariah so that no one will ever want her to be any leader or in a position of leadership.
Why do WE let THEM win these games? The left is openly perverse and yet we let them dictate who we “trust” by allowing them to eviscerate all our best candidates. We let the LEFT determine who is good enough for us? Then no one is...plainly sated, they will FIND something or INVENT something to bring down every godly candidate we put up, especially at the 11th hour, when there is no time for a rebuttal. We should know the tactics of the left by now.
When we read headlines about some of our best people, instead of jumping off the wagon of support, we should be hunkering down and praying for them. In fact, if we were really praying for godly candidates to be successful, we’d be praying for the ones we feel we could support instead of watching to see what the left is going to find on them. The left will make a mountain out of a molehill, will juice it up, will make it as trashy as possible the time it is announced. We should be wary of ANYTHING the media puts out. I am sad for Bristol Palin, but I think no less of Sarah than I ever have. It is not Sarah’s fault that her daughter made a couple mistakes. If people knew some of the things we all have done, would we willingly confess to them? Most of us would be angry about it.
My problem is that I was following her on Patheos/FB and believed everything she said. Imagine my shock when she announced this. If she had never gone on social media, I would probably have just shrugged. It’s a lesson to all of us - especially my lib friends - that Facebook can be an enemy as well as a “friend.”

I greatly agree with your statements!
I think I remember that Bristol was a clerk after Tripp was born so that probably didn’t give them enough money to survive. She went to LA/Hollywood and that alone will cause your life to be miserable. If you make one mistake your headline news. I am sure it is difficult to try and live a wholesome Alaskan lifestyle there as well as be as good and smart as your mom and dad. Maybe one reason Sarah is not at FoxNews anymore as of late?
So, what’s the deal with this? I suppose Meyers is the father, they were going to get married, what happened? Perhaps they’ll re-think things and get married now.
Speaking as a woman, if I thought there was a snowball’s chance in hell that I was pregnant I would have walked down that aisle come hell or high water.
I can forgive anyone one out of wedlock child, I almost had one myself. But now she’s got 2 kids by 2 fathers and still no husband. Chose life, always, but we know where babies come from, they don’t just get dropped in our laps by storks.
I’m sorry to say this, but she’s made herself look very foolish and yes, hypocritical. And no, it’s not good for our side.
I agree and would say her daughter is selfish and doesn’t grasp the importance of her mom. As Rush will say Monday the Left should be celebrating Bristol.
I said they were drunk during that incident. There were plenty of folks who suggested that most of the people there WERE drunk.
I did not say they were drunks—meaning continually drunk or alcoholics.
If you are going to get your righteous indignation up, get it up for the right reason.
The reality is that Sarah has chosen a lower and lower profile. Her Fox News contract has expired, and she has turned down or not responded to requests for hundreds of public appearances.
