Bristol Palin got it very right in her latest blog post. “Tripp, this new baby, and I will all be fine, because God is merciful,” said Palin. God’s got this. Palin may apologize to Him, but she certainly doesn’t owe one to anyone else. Especially those with an agenda bashing her online solely because they already had a visceral hatred for her and her mother.

Abortion is not an option, and every child is valuable and created in God’s image. This does not mean that it is acceptable to continue to bring children into the world out of wedlock. I will point to the major problems caused by young girls raising children with no father around. God ordained marriage for the purpose of bringing children into HIS idea of a family, for the best raising possible.
Honestly, I cringe when I hear Bristol using God’s name rather flippantly. She was so thankful and gave credit to God for bringing her and the marine (I think his name is Dakota) together - that blew up. So was it God? And now she’s pregnant with her second out-of-wedlock child (is it Dakota’s child?) AFTER cashing in as a spokesperson for abstinence?
Sorry - God bless the little child, but this is an embarrassment. She needs to keep out of the public eye and quietly raise her children properly.
God IS merciful and EVERY child is a blessing. I can’t wait to “meet” this new baby ;)

I believe Sarah Palin will never run for office again and here’s why.
We’ve all seen the media animosity directed at her. We’ve seen its effects on the ignorant. But only Todd and Sarah Palin know just how bad it is. They don’t tell us, and they don’t even tell their children. It’s that bad.
They’ve almost certainly decided that while they have young children, nothing is worth the cost of exposing their children to such mindless hatred.
She does what she can for conservatism while maintaining freedom of movement, unconstrained by the obligations of political office.
Additional reason if she needed one: political office would put her at the mercy of corruptocrats in the system. Government is infested with leftists and every day she’d be in danger of legal action intended precisely to ruin her.
So don’t chalk it up to the account of Bristol Palin. She’s a grown woman. Flawed, sure. Not Patty Davis flawed, but no saint.
Show me the voter who’s going to conclude that Sarah is discredited because Bristol is no saint.

Having sex outside marriage is a “mistake,” or let’s be accurate and call it “a consciously chosen act of serious sin.” A baby is not a mistake: he or see is an unmerited blessing.
