I turned mine upside down when the Senate acquitted Clinton during the impeachment. I had more than ten people ring my doorbell to tell me that I had the flag wrong. When I explained what the reason was, most didn't know what I was talking about. I took the flag down and it's still in the utility room.

I see it everyday when I feed the dog and I think back to my youth and wonder how it all went wrong.

Reaction to my upside down flag was the same. I was told it’s a sigh of distress. My response was WELL! I too ended up taking it down and haven’t flown it since.
