Victory in 2016. The left may well regret this week (vanity)

I think there is a distinct possibility that these two disastrous rulings by the USSC may have finally woken up the sleeping Silent Majority.

The libs are dancing in the streets now but in Nov. 2016, they may be regret getting what they wished for.

The fact is that most blacks and Latinos are against gay marriage.

I think the Dems are in for a major defeat in 2016, on all fronts.

Maybe I'm being optimistic. But I don't think so.

I think it is 1933 Germany and we are the Jews.

I agree. According to Romans 1, God has given up this country. We will learn the blessings of persecution.

Had the Supreme Court ruled against 0bamacare the Republicans in Congress would have crushed many of their own members in a stampede to amend the law to read in the manner the court ruled that it actually read.

Perhaps a tad optimistic, but plausible. We could see an effect similar to 2004, when marriage was on the ballot in multiple states, and an R president and congress was elected. It will certainly help to maximize evangelical turnout in 2016.

It will be interesting to see the R candidates reactions. Conservative votes in the R primaries will be won or lost accordingly.

You’re being optimistic. The left, evil never bottoms out without some sort of bloodshed. America has more room to fall, sadly, then the shear weight of it’s moral decay will implode, taking this country with it. What remains is anyone’s guess.

So what if Rats lose and Republicans win? Big deal, there is no difference between D’s and R’s. You are deluding yourself if you think electing republicans will change anything. Remember all the promises Republicans made in 2014? Have they keep even one of their promises? No, not a one. They are lairs and crooks, they are worse then Rats.

Roberts and Kennedy are Republican appointees. So were Souter, O'Connor, Burger, Brennan, and Warren. Who was the last conservative or moderate Democrat on the Supreme Court - Byron White, who retired over 20 years ago?

Since 1952, we have had 36 years of Republicans in the White House and 26 years of Democrats. With the exception of White, all the Democrat appointees have been liberals. With the Republicans, only one half, at best, could be considered conservative. In sports, an winning average of .250 usually connotes a team at the bottom of the standings.

We have got to do better.

I’d love to hear what’s on your list. Not being sarcastic.

the USSC may have finally woken up the sleeping Silent Majority...

The sheeple will sleep and continue to do so until the wifi stops and the TV no longer works.
The couch is too comfortable to bother complaining about "things" that do not affect them.

As the next President of the U.S. has said in the past... "At this point what difference does it make?"

I agree with you! Let obamacare collapse on its on. The Republicans should not try to tweak it or do away with the unpopular stuff; just leave it alone and it will fail.

On gay marriage, I think it will energize the conservative base; but the republicans have such poor leadership in the house and senate I do not think they can rally the conservative, moderate, tea party and independent groups together. To the liberal and dems delight these groups are in a “my way” or no way mind set. It is sad and scares the hell out of me, but we better get used to Hillary as President, as well as, her nominating at least 2 maybe 3 new SC Justices during her term.

All that is left is to stir the racial pot and illegal immigrant pot to get out their base.

One wedge issue is gone.

we will all have throw up in our mouths as we have to pull the lever one more time for the evil of 2 lessers.

Not me. The Chamber of Commerce can lie in the Socialist bed they've made so far as I'm concerned. Let 'em experience life under Sanders or Warren. Then perhaps I'll entertain them begging me for forgiveness.

It’s time to weep. It’s time to stop relying on pathetic “leaders” who don’t get what’s happening. It’s time to stop relying on a party who only cares about their rich friends. A 2016 victory for Republicans is the last thing patriots need. The only thing that will restore our liberty now is some form of revolution. Victory for the GOP will not bring that. It would just be 2014 on steroids.

What do you expect to happen? Did you think the Supremes would rule against the Sodomites? I don’t know why you can’t see that the American people have no voice and patriots are being systematically and purposefully marginalized. It’s not crying or pessimism. It’s fact. Read “Give me Liberty or Give me Death” again. That’s where we are.

Or is it something else?

I think the answer is changing from "I don't care" to "I don't care". I think there is a dramatic shift in many people from the "I don't care" attitude of apathy to an 'I don't care" attitude of civil disobedience. From people I've talked to face to face, more and more are saying that when the time comes they will do what they think is right (morally) and in thier family's best interest; government at any level be damned.

The conservative movement hasn't had a victory since President Reagan left office.

A GOP victory, regardless of its size, does NOTHING for conservatives.

Since January 20, 1989 there has been a steady advancement of liberalism. The GOP and Democrats have, at times, focused on different facets of the liberal agenda, but there has been no discernible difference in the outcome. We currently have a two-party system with nearly identical agendas, they are only fighting over who gets to take credit.

Sorry can’t buy this view anymore. I used to feel this way, but not now. The Left controls the meme and has a willing mindless twitter obsessed army who can be emotional whipsawed by anyone with a cellphone. I watched it here in Indiana during the RFRA fiasco. People were hysterically reacting to tweets about a law that in essence didn’t exist. But it worked.

Stick a fork in us we are done as a nation.

Um, .... there is no silent majority. That was fifty years ago. These days, most people — way beyond half — are happy to steal from each other, and from the few taxpayers left. That is what government is for — redistribution. The IQ of voters has gotten too low for there to be any hope this Republic, or this Democracy, or whatever this country has become, can function. The free fall is over, brace for impact.

They didn’t know what was to happen, we should.

Watch the History channel’s series ‘The Third Reich’ at one point they quote a Jewish women in Germany (circa 1933) talking with some foreigners and she says “No harm will come to the Jews”.. well know how that turned out don’t we?

So what is your planned course of action? Capitulation? Voting for a RINO?

I have been shuddering at the thought of a Sanders-Trump election for the past couple of days
