I think there is a distinct possibility that these two disastrous rulings by the USSC may have finally woken up the sleeping Silent Majority.
The libs are dancing in the streets now but in Nov. 2016, they may be regret getting what they wished for.
The fact is that most blacks and Latinos are against gay marriage.
I think the Dems are in for a major defeat in 2016, on all fronts.
Maybe I'm being optimistic. But I don't think so.
I think it is 1933 Germany and we are the Jews.
Dream on. There seems to be no resistance.
The GOPe will give only lip service if that. What I see is a 3rd party evolving because the GOPe is a part of the problem, not the solution.
Time for non-compliance in every way possible. The feral federal lawlessness entitles them to no allegiance or support.
Several members of the Supreme Court will leave in the next 8 years - including some liberals.
It’s possible that Roberts can be forced to resign (no need to impeach). The next president can remake the court for decades to come.
Put down the crack pipe. Even if a Republican were elected to every available office, it is obvious they would do nothing about anything that has happened in the last two days.
Where are the crowds of people protesting this nonsense? “People of color” will riot and loot, much less protest, at the drop of a hat for “innocent victims” that two-thirds of them know weren’t innocent at all. Is it just because, despite everything Mr. Obama can throw at us, we’re still mostly employed and can’t spare time to demonstrate? Or is it something else?
Yes. We Thought We Were Free.
They will not regret it.
ever.
I don’t think they have the ability
SPOT ON!!
They will.
Furthermore I wish conservatives would stop crying and giving the left that satisfaction.
I’ve already agitated liberals by suggesting that straight people should enter same sex marriages to mock their pretend marriages.
‘Victory’ for the GOP in 2016 is the equivalent of Bob Dole being tax collector for the welfare state.
As long as the money train keeps rolling in to the “oppressed and needy” it isn’t stopping. We are reaping the rewards of our collective loss of faith in the Almighty.
First it is nudge, then it is shove, then it is shoot.
Even if a Republican were elected to every available office, it is obvious they would do nothing about anything that has happened in the last two days.
More and more people are realizing that what we have is a #uniparty. I gave up on the republicans over a decade ago. Everything with legal teeth that has happened since then has proven me correct. The whole thing is a sham, but the veil is thinning as their desperation to keep the house of cards standing results in actions that are harder and harder to defend or justify.
e.g. the court’s obamacare decision.
The GOP is probably scared, because if it gets more power than it has, it'll really be accountable. It won't be too difficult to field a loser, he's already picked out (Jeb Bush), and crony capitalism can continue on its merry way with the entertainment/diversion offered by elections.
But from Nero’s Rome rose Christ’s church(es) to spread His Word throughout the world...
Yes, I’m an optimist: I think we’re in the downfall of our nation LOL!
“The fact is that most blacks and Latinos are against gay marriage.”
Not as much as they are pro-free stuff.
