Our friends’ daughter made similar bad decisions. A baby at 18 then another by a different guy several years later. Tough on the family, but she married the second guy and she is now an amazing wife and homeschooling mother.
We all have sinful natures, just struggle in different areas. Abortion had allowed many to hide the their sin by murdering the baby. Promiscuity wasn’t my biggest struggle (though not giving in to temptation was a battle and it is only by the grace of God that I didn’t).Envy, lust, lying and a haughty spirit, however, are things I still struggle with almost daily.
Right now she is probably a broken woman and I hope her pain turns her to the Lord. I feel only sadness for her parents and hope their family stays committed to each other.
