It's official! Even though Gruber plainly said 'If you're a state and you dont set up an Exchange, that means your citizens dont get their tax credits.
I hope thats a blatant enough political reality that states will get their act together and realize there are billions of dollars at stake here in setting up these Exchanges, and that theyll do it.', our SCOTUS has taken it upon itself to rewrite Obamacare. That's twice now that SCOTUS has rewritten an obviously unconstitutional Law to decide it really is Constitutional. So, mark this day forever, it is OFFICIAL. WORDS in the USA, henceforth, can mean anything you want them to mean. WORDS have no integrity anymore.
The New Bolshevik Revolution Alinsky-ites are just getting started with theirs...
Oh, their message to you Neanderthals?..."Just Die Already!"
Impeach the lawless Tyrants.
We should all remember this day in November 2016 when we are being told voting for Jeb Bush is better than voting for Hillary or Bernie Sanders.
I hope some conservative get hold of whatever dirty secret Obama has on Roberts and just release it.
If he is getting bought off or bribed then he should not benefit from it. His hidden shame is not worth the price of this nation.
Thinking back a little, and wondering some...
Obama was tacky and disrespectful to the Supreme Court once when they were in front of him for a State of the Union Address.
He was again tacky and demanding and disrespectful to this institution when the Supreme Court was in process of deciding Obamacare’s constitutionality.
He was also tacky and demanding prior to this latest decision on his pet project. A number of lawyers felt that the Supreme Court had no reason to take him seriously. They will decide what they will; they have lifetime tenure; they are not in the least bit intimidated. Perhaps all the experts were wrong.
What in the world would intimidate our august Supreme Court? Wonder if there is some kind of Chicago thuggery going on.
Oh that’s goooood.
the thuggery going on seems to be much bigger and fiercer than the Chicago style..
“Its going to get much, much worse”
Actually I hope it does and I hope it comes fast instead of the slow boiling of the frog. If it comes fast enough maybe even the middle class that leans slightly left will figure out what conservatives already know. If we remain on a slow boil the normalcy bias comes into play and the abject socialism remains.
America died in 2008 when Obama was elected. What we are seeing now is just the rotting of the corpse.
Oh hell America died a long time ago.
Some dates that come to my mind:
June 17, 1963 Removal of Prayer from School
March 31, 2015 First Celebrated State Sanctioned Murder
March 23, 2010 The signing of a law unconstitutional on more levels than I have time to list.
It is no longer the Supreme Court. It is the EXTREME Court!
We have no states anymore. We have no legislature anymore.
We simply have an executive branch that makes decrees and a judicial branch that does its best to approve those decrees.
It is obvious now that we can save ourselves a lot of money by just sending the legislators home. The SC has made them superfluous.
We basically now have a 2 branch government with the SC enacting any law they want.
Won’t be long till we are down to just the Executive.
[We have no states anymore.]
There are no states in communist countries either (including Russia), just the State but, of course, ‘it can’t happen here’. /s
Somewhere, somehow, pictures of someone with a dead girl or a live boy are involved.
Roberts ALREADY has a hernia, with strangulated testicles, to come up with this ever more tortured language to rationalize the imposition of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. In all that title, only one part is remotely reflective of reality, and that is the date of the law, “2010”. Every other word in its title poses an oxymoron, as no patients are protected, and whatever “protection” is provided is on the order of the local Mafia selling a little “protection” to the local merchants, so “Nuttin’ BAD happens, capesh’?”
“Affordable” went out the window the first time the supposed enrollees tried to renew their coverage, and the “care” provided is essentially all out-of-pocket, the premiums paid being essentially extortion money, as there shall NEVER be as much returned to most if not all the enrollees, as the sums paid in. Of course, the deal was, that EVERYBODY gets assessed, so a very few can be partially or fully subsidized, but then the care these “beneficiaries” is short shrift, shuttled in and out with a scarcely minimal amount of treatment and/or medication provided. As far at the “act” part goes, it it were not a bad act, it would be no act at all.
The whole thing is a huge prank pulled on the American people.
I don’t think anyone is going to figure out anything other than what it feels like and what it means to lose a country.
From Scott Walker:
“Todays Supreme Court ruling upholding the administrations implementation of ObamaCare means Republicans in the House and Senate must redouble their efforts to repeal and replace this destructive and costly law. From the beginning, it was clear that ObamaCare would fail the American people and this has proven to be true across the country and in Wisconsin.
Workers have lost hours because of new costs faced by their employers, people have lost their insurance and cannot afford the dramatic premium and fee increases, and many can no longer see their preferred doctors. Now, instead of just finger-pointing from the president for why his law is failing, we need real leadership in Washington, and Congress needs to repeal and replace ObamaCare.”
LOL!
Whatever.
