It's official! Even though Gruber plainly said 'If you're a state and you dont set up an Exchange, that means your citizens dont get their tax credits.
I hope thats a blatant enough political reality that states will get their act together and realize there are billions of dollars at stake here in setting up these Exchanges, and that theyll do it.', our SCOTUS has taken it upon itself to rewrite Obamacare. That's twice now that SCOTUS has rewritten an obviously unconstitutional Law to decide it really is Constitutional. So, mark this day forever, it is OFFICIAL. WORDS in the USA, henceforth, can mean anything you want them to mean. WORDS have no integrity anymore.

Even the intent was clear.......you state set up exchanges or you don't get the Federal money. CLEAR INTENT! Obamacare was to withold Federal money from states who didn't toe the Obamacare line. Our country is now dead. We have several 'justices' who KNOW their agenda is more important than the integrity of words. No more trust in anything anyone says anymore. As they can say something and it means nothing. I weep for the tyranny that is our Government now.

Since words no longer mean what they say, they no longer have to use them against us.
They can put meanings in to our mouths instead.

‘They can put meanings in to our mouths instead’
The Media and Leftist politicians already do that to Conservatives. And the LIVs believe it because they heard it on the news or from their Leftist politician.

I am so embarrassed to be an American. The blatantly corrupt decision puts the USA at a level so deep it makes Mexico the country of propriety

We had to pass it to find out what's in it, and then what was in it wasn't even what it said.
It would be cheaper and just as effective to replace the Constitution and the legislative and judiciary branches with a Magic 8 Ball.

Agree. And the final nail in the coffin was the 2012 election. Our SCOTUS is as bad as Obama. Nothing ‘supreme’ about their blatant political agenda.

Well, I don’t know if this is the specific day, but this certainly seems the week that America has well warranted its damnation.
The preservation of the republic has become quite meaningless.

From Scalias dissenting opinion...
The Courts decision reflects the philosophy that judges should endure whatever interpretive distortions it takes in order to correct a supposed flaw in the statutory machinery. That philosophy ignores the American peoples decision to give Congress [a]ll legislative Powers enumerated in the Constitution. Art. I, §1. They made Congress, not this Court, responsible for both making laws and mending them. This Court holds only the judicial powerthe power to pronounce the law as Congress has enacted it. We lack the prerogative to repair laws that do not work out in practice, just as the people lack the ability to throw us out of office if they dislike the solutions we concoct. We must always remember, therefore, that [o]ur task is to apply the text, not to improve upon it.
