A cat bit a woman in Germany, sending her into such a rage that she then repeatedly bit and beat her boyfriend, the owner of the pet, police said on Sunday.
A police spokesman said that the 26-year-old woman was attacked by her 39-year-old partners feline in the western city of Hagen in the early hours of Saturday.
After she tried in vain to discipline the cat, "a fight between the bitten person and the cat's owner ensued in which the 39-year-old was hit and bitten several times," the spokesman said in a statement.

“After she tried in vain to discipline the cat..” Well, there’s her problem right there. Can one truly ever discipline a CAT?! :)
Looks like Kitty might have been trying to protect its owner.
I'm going out on a limb here and will say NO.
Outlaw teeth.
Those Nasty Nazis.
Ping
Drive it to the local Chinese steam table buffet?
You are very bad, Nick! In defense of the cat... she was the just the girlfriend. Silly woman! Cat was there first and has established domain.
Cats are pretty good judges of who is and isn’t a lunatic their owner should get away from asap!
One in the hospital, One in custody w/ restraining order.
OUTLAW CATS!!!!!
They have proved their ineffectiveness to save Mankind many times, Bubonic Plague, ring a bell?
She invaded the cat’s territory. And in the early hours, when things should be quiet and private. What’s wrong with her?
No, I don’t ring a bell and stop calling me Bubonic Plague.
But the cat did save him...
Furthermore hadn’t Europe gone through this “cat’s are the devils agents” thing and emptied Europe of kitties by various destructive means (including burning) before that mess took place (which they now think was really a strain of Ebola anyway)?
DO NOT use factual HISTORY to make your POINT!, That is unfair.
Run away from the craz woman as fast and as far away as you can.
How does that graph (interesting as it is) fit in with this story?
