Ayn Rand is not a good role model for young girls. Do you really want to uphold a woman who lived her own life the way her fictional character, Dagny Taggert, did? A string of affairs, including an affair with a married man, excusing and rationalizing the affair (the wife was such an awful person you see.) No thanks, there are much better choices, starting with Abigail Adams.
