I would rather have Johnny Miller than this crowd. Really? Joe Buck? And who is the stripper that interviews the golfers after their round??
All great comments. Overall for a public course, it’s outstanding. Any course it’s outstanding; but the type of grass used in the fairways and the greens is unique to the Northwest and this makes the golf course unique. In the old days they played on a lot of different quality golf courses and mostly public golf courses. The idea that every course should be like a carpet takes all the variety out of the game.
I’ll say the course looks like a gravel pit, and the greens are sheer idiocy.
But compared to CBS coverage, it’s pitiful bush league stuff. You never get a feel for what each hole looks like overall, or the big picture.
It pretty much sucks from end to end.
It’s been dry.
Awesome put!!!
DID YOU SEE THAT????
its the same as Oregone, and California..
however even Spokane which is on the far eastern part of the state and normally semi arid is much greener than this, and our golf courses are pretty lush and green...
Yes, now we will see what he can do out of the rough.
Didnt do so bad
We are in the middle of a huge drought and have highs of 114/116F predicted in 10 days (southeastern WA).
A put? They are engaging in stock trading during the game? That’s what I call multitasking to the extreme.
It also shows that course can be played when that last guy shot a birdie.
We need an edit function.
Yea...Jordan
Looking at the venue was enough to scare me off. Note to self-grass in Washington state is not green!
Would you rather them look like rachel madcow?
“Fore!”
Congratulations to Jordan Spieth. Condolences to Dustin Johnson. Great roller coaster finish.
Duh,duh, duh... would be my response to her first question. Duh, duh would be my next response.
Well said. I can see why Jordan said he was "in shock."
The Sierra Club is suing the USGA for calling those Chambers Bay rockpiles “greens.”
