If it’s just a business arrangement, then why does Hefner always refer to them as “girlfriends”, implying all they’re with him because they love him? Why doesn’t he call them “my paid mistresses”?
I would imagine he wants to avoid any legal hassles associated with openly admitting it's a prostitution arrangement.
