Cats are ideal for me....I’m a confirmed cat person. I’d be devastated and lost if something happened to my two boys.

How would your cat do when an intruder breaks into your house? Just sayin’

We have 2 cats, they’re both nice enough. We also have a German Shepard/Belgian Malinois mix. That dog would lay down its life to protect my house and three small children.

My 2 cats would hardly look up and go back to licking themselves while the intruder does his worst...

I will concede that most cats do well at killing vermin. Both mine have chalked up a few mice each...

That’s how I feel about cats. Being self-employed, I have never wanted to have the neediness of a dog waiting for me to come home. I have had several cats over the years, and they appreciate me returning but were not overly anxious. Although the one I have now is pretty clingy when I am home.
