Here’s Why You Must Not Compare Caitlyn Jenner and Rachel Dolezal

As Rachel Dolezal’s story unravels on- and offline, the Internet has followed suit with questions of its own. In a recent interview, Dolezal’s parents said they’re “both of Caucasian and European descent,” and their now 37-year-old daughter — the president of Spokane’s NAACP chapter — has been pretending to be black for the last decade.

On Twitter today, several hashtags about Rachel were trending, including #transracial – a term that some users seemed to define as the idea that a person could be born as one race but assume another racial identity. The term — and the online conversation around it — was discussed in tandem with Caitlyn Jenner’s gender.

Nope sorry, not having any of it..
That is the old way. Just as a man trying to be a women was once considered a mental illness and treated as such. But things change and the left and the media have driven the issue that everything is about how we FEEL. If Bruce Jenner FEELS like a women he is a women. Well if this women who is white FEELS as if she is Black how can you now call that a mental illness but Bruce Jenners situation not one? Can’t have it both ways. Not going to allow it.

Some on the left apparently believe that a person may be born with the body of one gender, but the brain of another gender. Likewise, they believe that a person may be born with the body of one race, but the brain of another race.

In other words, it is nature that made the fundamental mistake--not the individual in question...

That said, liberals have no choice. If transracial were to be accepted, it would utterly destroy the neat little categories of Designated Victim Group (DVG) and Designated Oppressor Group (DOG) they’ve slotted people into.

If people can remove themselves from a DOG to a DVG by an act of will, they’ve lost the game.

There’s no logical way to defend their position, but that’ never bothered them much.

Not quite. AFAIK, no leftists have come out in favor of transracialism. That’s mostly conservatives having fun.

IOW, sex (pardon me, gender), which is imprinted in the DNA of every cell, is mutable and someone’s “identification” must never be disputed.

Race, which they claim (or did until recently) is a social construct that doesn’t really exist, is immutable and a person’s self-identification is irrelevant.

Sexual orientation is also, according to them, inborn and immutable. Attempts to help someone change it are hate crimes and must be prohibited by law.
