Consider this a free seminar on the intricacies of enacting a trade deal in Congress.
Only last week the media was all atwitter about Cruz jumping the Conservative ship, and voting to support (parts of) Obamas pacific trade pact. This is complicated stuff, and not very sexy. You simply cant explain it with a sound bite. But listen to this twenty-minute radio interview with Cruz as he brilliantly breaks down his position and in the process teaches us a lot about foreign trade, the Congressional process, and himself.
People who question Ted Cruzs electability are missing the point. The question isnt whether or not he can win, but what happens to us if he doesnt.

Ted Cruz would make the nest president that we have had since Ronald Reagan.
And far above a better choice than Rand Paul, Jeb Bush, Mike Huckabee, the list goes on.
What you said is not accurate. The TPP trade bill is still in negotiations and will not be voted on until it is complete. It has to be published for 60 days before it is even voted on. We will certainly know in that period of time what the bill contains. That 60 day waiting period will happen if TPA is passed.
TPA assures more accountability on the part of the President, more involvement in the process by Congress, and transparency of the final bill before it is voted on. That is why Cruz supported TPA.
Five Excellent points. Now we need the right president to do it. And this one aint it. Soon enough...
Those opposing TPA have to hope that the public doesn’t finally educate themselves on the benefits of having the TPA in place.
Keep Florina in the fray up until the GOP convention as Carly the bull dog to go after Hillary constantly until Hillary drops out of the race.
The first TPA happened under Roosevelt.
I don’t know of anyone who has come out in favor of TPP, certainly not Cruz.
Walker for Commerce Secretary??!!
Have you considered the fact that Wisconsin is 50th in new business start ups? They are 40th in job creation. Under Walker’s WEDC agency they have lost 2 jobs for every one job created, and actually show an over -7,000 job loss under his agency? Those jobs we sent overseas.
That’s not to mention that Wisconsin has a projected 2 billion dollar deficit for this fiscal year.
I meant best President since Ronald Regan
I’m lovin’ that picture. Thanks!
Brilliant! Now, do not speak of this again for 16 months.
The stock of Rolaids and Pepto Bismal has gone through the roof in the last 6 years.
The stock of Rolaids and Pepto Bismal has gone through the roof in the last 6 years.
I would actually expect Ginsberg to step down next year, before Obama steps down
Thanks for your replay Jacquerie, I respect your posts.
My point is we don’t live by the rules and laws we have now, what good are new ones going to do?
Worse than that, my screaming at the TV has caused my better half to leave the room sometimes.
So I stopped watching the news. And I take deep breaths to calm down.
Ohh, it’s coming soon and these paid Astroturf ROBO trolls Cruz haters will scurry back to home base like rats since they see their lies, tactics is not working and wait for further orders from the top.
They act very much like Rand Paul Occupy Wall Street protesters and militant homosexuals.
Ooops, meant reply
That’s quite a comparison! :):)
We all feel your pain. The news is definitely hard to take since none of them give Cruz a fair shake.
