Cyrstal Pepsi is poised to make a comeback, thanks in part to efforts by competitive eater Kevin Strahle --aka L.A. Beast.

Strahle is part of a group of loyal consumers who have been appealing to Pepsi to bring back the iconic drink, which tasted like Pepsi but was clear.

The caffeine-free drink was originally introduced in 1992 to respond to health concerns about coloring in soda, but only lasted a year. It was considered a failure because it was believed it didn’t taste good.

Rotated Pepsi, Mountain Dew (tall 16oz 8-packs) and Jolt while guarding an Air Guard base from midnight to 8am for three years. Kept me alert.

Surprised no one’s ever started a drive to make caffeine the National Ingredient. Works for me and, dammit, for America!

I’d rather they bring back Pepsi with Lemon.

Can Tartar Control Duff be far behind?

Sorry, your choices are Mountain Dew or Crab Juice.

Yep.

The only difference between Crystal Pepsi and Pepsi is the flavorless, artificial "caramel" coloring.

They should taste exactly the same - my assumption when they first came out with it was: "They are charging the same price while pocketing the cost of the coloring, right?"

Don’t you mock my good friend Zima.

It got me through some hard times indeed.

Mainly because I used it a mixer to get girls drunk.

Zima + Vodka + Fruity juice od any kind = I am married now.
