If I thought I could get away with it...
I probably wouldn’t do it, anyway. I just have to bite my tongue when the beauracracy is involved because they are only as smart as they are allowed to be. It’s my job to ENLIGHTEN them. ARGGGHHHH!
A few days ago, I got a flyer in the mail to “DEFEAT ME/CFS” so once again, CFIDS is an orphan disease. I’m hoping this is just a way to get funding for research, but I resent the fact that I have fought for 30 years to inform people (medical as well as lay) as to the seriousness of the disease and how difficult it is for non-PWCs to understand. Even when they read about it, they are unbelieving. *sigh*
There is no way I’m going to die until this disease gets RECOGNIZED!
6The wolf shall dwell with the lamb,
and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together;
and a little child shall lead them.
7The cow and the bear shall graze;
their young shall lie down together;
and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8The nursing child shall play over the hole of the cobra,
and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adders den.
9They shall not hurt or destroy
in all my holy mountain;
for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea.
I’ve just made a cake for the Missionaries of the Poor. I’m working on a pasta dish with meatballs, too: I’ll take one pan to the MOP tomorrow and feed the rest to the byos tonight.
Kathleen has fallen asleep on the sofa.
:-)
Yep. That sums it up, alright.
And I’m off to bed. My stomach has finally stopped hurting, but I’m prepared to have two more cocktails before the day is over.
One of my brothers sent me his old Nook, which apparantly, he used for reading. He left everything on there!!! Once it is charged, I’m excited to see what he likes to read. He is my VERY favorite brother!
And so, I will see all y’all in the morning day.
The hamsters aren’t mentioned, but if rodents are your thing, you can have hope for them ... I’m pleased by the presence of snakies.
I know about that part of the story but I’m not holding my breath that I’ll live to see it.
I’ve finished supper and am having a break from the dishes. After the dishes, I’ll put frosting on the cake.
If you don’t, you’ll get back up for it.
Especially snakes that don’t bite...
They were only biting because they were hungry or threatened. No one will feel hungry or threatened then.
Yes, Yes, that is just how it is! LOL.
Morning TC. :)
Good morning. Just beginning to get light here. The birds are awake and hassling the cats. Tom the Mocker is out there, “Jake! Jake!”
I’m rich! At least, according to the email from my bank. They noticed I deposited the reimbursement check for Bill’s college tuition, but didn’t notice that I transferred it back out again to the credit card issuer.
If I was a democrat politician, I would run out and buy a bunch of stuff and claim it’s the bank’s fault.
Yes they probably would.
The law here has that covered. If you use it within six years it means that you noticed it and failed to report it.
Many have tried, few have won.
They’ll catch it on Monday. The credit card bank probably didn’t process the payment until midnight yesterday, while Wells Fargo sent the balance based on the amount at the end of the workday here.
