I took the kids to the Lego Store.
I have been in Texas a long time, didn’t have indoor AC until I was about 14...
Now I find anything over 75 to be kind of warm and 80 to be hot.

Old age and old age drugs seem to make me much more sensitive to heat.
I used to go the the race track and bake in 90 deg sun all day without a care.
Now 10 minutes on the deck and I’m ready to sprint inside.
Very good. You really are gifted with plots and scenarios, which is the more important aspect of fiction.
However, if you don’t mind my saying so, you have comma splices.

My right ankle gives me fits when the weather is like this, and some days, it's almost impossible to concentrate on something else.
Right now, the weather is perfect for me. Maybe another five degrees hotter, but this is good. Of course, once it gets to 110, anything over that is not really noticeable. The worst thing is that the heat sucks the moisture out of your body, so you have to always have water with you.
At my age I don’t really sprint anywhere or any time.
And certainly not when it’s hot.
No, you’re right. When the humidity gets up to 10%, we REALLY feel it, but when the monsoons are here, we get 90 degrees and 90%. Then we start dropping like flies...especially the newcomers to the Valley. They have no clue and don’t bother to ask.

I’ve been on a mission to be continue to outrun my grandkids up a pretty steep hill in my backyard.
The oldest is turning 9, plays tackle football, and is now giving me a pretty close race. It won’t be long...

Time to start the ‘Blue fridge’, and go for a drive.
I gave up on prescription drugs because my body doesn’t like them. The side affects are anything from heat intolerance to nausea, trembling and headaches. I’m strictly holistic, now, and after almost 30 years, my CFIDS is finally under control. I have to be always on guard for set-backs, but now I can go to the track and actually enjoy the sights, sounds and smells!
Pharma-giants don’t want to cure you: they want to keep you dependent on the drugs they force on you. The bottom line is money.

I don’t sprint, either, but I can walk fairly fast when it’s cool! (80)
