Sounds like a boring place.

LoL!

Speaking of possibility, Kathleen has Went in the toilet! I was determined that I wasn’t going to let her go to bed un-eliminated, as it were, so I spent the last hour sitting on a folding chair at the bathroom door, reading a biography (by Charles Dickens) of the 19th century actor Joseph Grimaldi.

Looks like it’s going to be pretty good, in spite of Dickens.

Remind the dear lass that this accomplishment is more one of convenience than shall we say more cerebral activities.

She will always have with her, her most fundamental attribute. I occasionally use mine to open doors. My nephew used his before he was born to assist me in building a carport. (His mother was sitting on a board to hold it down while I adjusted its length.)

But now she may clothe that attribute in more fashionable and comfortable ways. You will, of course, have to take the young lady clothes shopping, you know.

I’ve promised her a princess nightgown if the toilet-use becomes habitual. And a tomato snake and a prize from her grandmother.

Perhaps telling her that the toilet is sometimes also called a throne will aid traing.

A little research into what kind of Coy O'Tays we have in these parts seems to indicate that we have no 'pure' Coy O'Tays, they're all some mongrel hybrid of Wolf, Coy O'Tay, and Dog. Apparently they (not sure who exactly this 'they' is - might just be Wikipedia, the repository of the entire available knowledge ever) tend to call the thing I saw last night an "Eastern Coyote" and the other colored critter is called a "Coywolf", although both are coywolves..

This is the coloration I saw last night (mostly reddish)..

And this is what the one that walked up the drive looked like (more black)..

I am not sure if I now know more than I once knew or whether I'm just more confused.. Any description of either critter indicates they are pack animals thus causing pondering as to why both times there was this lone Coy O'Tay wandering without the rest of the pack.

No matter the coloration (I'm prejudiced against either), and no matter what they are officially called, I don't want one hanging around with my cats.

Oh sure, like they had technology back then.

Like people carrying telephones everywhere they went.

See #3109.

That is precisely what I thought you saw, simply because a coyote is a Plains/Southwest animal; For reasons unknown to man, they have managed to breed with the Eastern wolf.

Most probably because the DNA in some families is so similar.

I don’t blame you a bit for wanting them away from your cats, but your cats are probably they reason they are there (so visible) in the first place. The different coloration indicates your cats may be being stalked by two separate packs.

The Coywolves have been becoming bolder as time passes, so you may have to call in the Fish and Game people so the Coywolves can be trapped and relocated.

That’s so how I feel most mornings.

I slept fairly well last night (wonder of wonders!) but woke up because I couldn’t breathe and didn’t want to dream any more, as I was dreaming about my late SiL/5th Cousin Once Removed and three of her daughters. In a way it was a comfortable dream, but it also spoke to the re-loss of my SiL.

My last cup of coffee is cooling in the fridge. I need to go to Walmart, but I don’t want to.

Yesterday, I got a call from the doctor’s office (pain management) reminding me of an appointment Monday morning at 0800. At least I’ll get home before the day gets too hot. I completely spaced that appointment.

I hope she asks how the cane is working out for me because I really want to tell her it doesn’t do a think for my dizziness.

(*blech* The coffee was awful. I used half-and-half and sugar and got too much of the creamer in it. I dumped it.)

Tomato snake. They're different.

This is an example of a tomato snake:

Believe it or not, I actually got two loads of laundry washed! I still have to hang the things, but now I only have two more loads to do. Maybe by Monday I can get after them.

I went to the community room at 0640 and it was already open so I went in. Ticked a woman off to think she was “late” at 0707. ;o]

Last time I was at Walmart, I found some Stouffer’s frozen mac’n’cheese, and it was pretty good. I wanted more protein so I added half a small can of solid white tuna and crumpled a couple of Ritz crackers on it. Voila! Instant tuna casserole!!! OK. I have an imagination... (The mac’n’cheese comes two cups to a package.)

Now I want a beer. Is it too early? Maybe it’s 1700 in England...?

It’s never too early for beer in Germany, or so I’ve been told.

I’m planning to go to Walmart, again, shortly. First, I’m eating a piece of leftover broccoli that I found behind some other stuff.
