It’s never too early for beer in Germany, or so I’ve been told.

I’m planning to go to Walmart, again, shortly. First, I’m eating a piece of leftover broccoli that I found behind some other stuff.

People drink beer in Germany because the water is so bad, they have to filter it. The fermentation process takes care of a lot of minerals and other gunk. It’s common to see kids drink beer, but they also have “maltzbier” for the younger set: Dark and foamy, and served in a mini-stein, but non-alcoholic. My son still has his “bierstein!”

So I’m headed down the hill to get a couple of cans...I will need them when I am done hanging the clothes. :o]

(Any excuse will do! I can even celebrate the opening of a TV dinner!)
