He has only been on dialysis about four months now, and unless things have improved all the way around, the life expectancy of a dialysis patient is about ten years from the onset. With his other health problems, this is not a good situation.

These shorts are like slices of longer stories, if the mood hits or there is some sort of demand I’d write them longer and slap a 99 cent price on them.
(I think 10k is an absolute minimum length for the 99 cents, and even that might but me... getting 35 cents a sale would be kind of a bug too, though)

my sister doesn’t read
but having a smart phone or tablet with pre-downloaded movies and twitter helps

Maybe he’ll do better after the surgery.
We had choir practice. We have a new song for tomorrow, and this was our first chance to practice together. We’ve all been listening to it on Youtube, so it went pretty well.

I hope so. He’s a nice guy. And funny, too.
Other than the time I spent outside with the neighbors, this has been a dull day...I REALLY wanted to get that drawer frame fitted and at least get started on filing all the stuff that is waiting for me to hide.
I don’t even know who to ask for help. *sigh* Busdaddy could do it, as he has the tools, but that’s not even a remote option. He was my go-to guy for so many things. :o[

Is Crazy Frank any good at putting things together?

I don’t need it put together, I need the bars shortened. Crazy Frank could probably do it, but he has no vice, nor is there a good solid, stable surface to brace the bars on while they are being shortened. (His apartment is just like mine.)
A vice is ideal as it could grip the bars right next to the score I need and then the extra length could be snapped right off, with a little extra muscle involved.
Putting it together is the least of my worries, at the moment. Just a simple screw to tighten the grips around the bar.

I could use Tom’s height for about 24 hours. I have several things that require at least 7-1/2 foot reach!

Inspiration ran out the side door with a stacatto laugh, hopped on a hovercycle, twitched ears, then sped off into the distance.
Darn rabbits.

I can actually have a clean desk. (Which is a sign of a sick mind.)That is true.
As is the corollary: "People who have a clean desk are liable to be weird in other ways also."
