I think so too.
I was so darned excited (still am) I nearly cried. I was really worried when he took that early lead...and held it for so long. I said, berdie...no way he can go the distance at that rate. But he absolutely did. And have could have (imho) ran further is asked to. He wasn't lathered and still seemed calm.
My pups and kitties are still traumatized. They don't like shouting, lol. If anyone heard loud shouting from my neck of the woods...it was me.I would have loved to have been there.
I had Frosted picked for second and Verve for third. Oh well, there was no $$$ to be made on this race. Just a great exciting race.
