I’d like to amend that title to 19 Disgusting Things About The Duggars….and Counting.
Here’s why:
1) Their son Josh was a serial child abuser, yet they don’t seem to even realise this salient fact. ‘He was so young,’ they wailed, ‘he’d just turned 14’…. ‘he was so young’…etc, vomit-makingly etc. Here’s the only fact that matters: Josh Duggar sexually molested FOUR of his own young sisters, one as young as 5, and a baby-sitter.
2) They didn’t report him to anyone for 16 months after he first confessed. That’s not them being ‘failed parents’ as they would have us believe. That’s being an accessory to covering up a crime. When they finally did tell someone in authority, it was to this man. A state trooper who did nothing about it and is now languishing in prison on child pornography charges

4) The Duggars seem more upset that we now all know about Josh’s disgraceful activities than about the activities themselves. Their doe-eyed exclamations of self-pity were utterly disingenuous.
5) They claim none of the victims knew they were being abused, which is obviously palpable nonsense given that some were awake when it happened. The reality is their parents conned them into thinking the abuse wasn’t as bad as it was. Just as they have, for years, conned them into thinking their weird, twisted, religiously zealous, goody-two-shoes lifestyle is ‘normal’ too.

I don’t think he knew the cop was into kiddie porn but he KNEW HIM PERSONALLY and took Josh to him to have him “read Josh the riot act”. There was no intent for it to go any further. Tha is not exactly reporting your child to the police.

Good grief - that supposed police report is an “Offense Report” and is more laborious to get through than the eight years worth of work I did and posted on this thread previously regarding my mother in law’s death...and why I don’t put much credence in official reports.

“———— had come to him very upset and crying.” What do you suppose that was about if as you and others say - Josh never went to his parents about what he had done?
After getting through pages of nothing into the pages of the actual offenses, it’s repeat after repeat after repeat of each investigators’ interviews. Where is the meat? Josh certainly was one of those interviewed as they asked him over and over what his favorite subject was in school.
It’s too bad that the pages of the offense report can’t be copied and pasted so those interested don’t have to keep going back to leaf through it. I finally had to give up as I was going blind but I failed to see what others have claimed is in the POLICE REPORT - like the family had to build a bigger house to keep Josh away from the girls? I also think that the father said on the Wednesday night show with Megan Kelly that he was familiar with a state trooper who worked in the station house where he and his wife went but that is NOT who they reported the incident to.
I only know I like things neat and tidy and above all ACCURATE and tied up with a bow - which is seldom possible in today’s world.
I don’t know who is lying and other than obozo and the Clintons, I think it’s difficult to discern most of the time.

The point I was making is this. On the interview last night the Duggars claimed it was just curiousity and touching his sisters at night while they were asleep but on top of their clothes.
The police report contains a very very different account including his forcibly fondling the very AWAKE EIGHT year old under NEATH her clothing, having picked her up and set her on a washer/dryer for ease of access.
That’s the offense labeled the most serious felony.

You didn’t see any posts of mine that said “nothing” happened. I am certainly questioning everyone putting their faith in the supposed “police report” and claiming things that aren’t there - like Josh did NOT go to his parents first!! A lot of people here are hanging their hat on that but even the sacred “police report” says otherwise.
