It took me until age 31 to find my soulmate. We married two years later. I wouldn’t trade him for any money, nor career, nor “independence”, nor anything else.

A lot of those women harbor anti-male attitudes, I suspect.

I'm 62, never been married. For the most part I am content. Do I miss the companionship of a marriage? Sure, at times.

Luckily, I have a large extended family that all live within 20 miles of each other.

BTW, I don’t have any cats, but I do have one forever puppy yellow lab. She is getting old and if I outlive her, my next pup will be an older rescue dog.

I'm 42 and have never been married. Just haven't met the right guy. I'm happy being single. As the years have passed, my Pro list of being single has gotten longer than the Con list.

I think God wants us to be happy, whether we're married or single, have children, or don't have children. He gave me the gift of life, so why should I spend it being miserable and pining for something that may never happen? Sure, I feel lonely sometimes, but then I count my blessings and I remember that I have been greatly blessed.

That's my two cents. Now I'm off to once again claim sole ownership of the remote control!

The way she shreds liberals in her books, choosing to spend her time with them makes no sense at all.
