There is now a call for a federal investigation.

There was a call for a federal investigation when Walker was declared the winner of all three elections. It's what Madison Democrats and union thugs do. Have you never heard Rep. Gwen Moore?

Since your bit on the Orphan Annie "secret" router is a complete dud, you go back to WEDC. That confirms it. You are not interested in simply posting news and your comments on said stories in the interest of conservatives learning the truth; you are just trying to attack Walker.

I like Cruz, too. And guys like Carson and Huckabee are taking as much out of his hide as Walker is. Why not be an equal opportunity attacker?

You will notice that Cruz manages to speak firmly and without weakness without attacking other conservatives in the race, announced or unannounced. No one will ever accuse you of coordinating a campaign with Cruz.

If you're from North of the Red River, Yankee is appropriate. If you're as above and living south of the Red River, you're a damned Yankee. For the record, Yankee isn't a pejorative. My wife is from Connecticut. If I called you a commie (sometimes synonymous with yankee), then you've been insulted.

***

Actually, as a Wisconsinite, being called a Yankee IS a pejorative. We wear our scars and harbor grudges for insane amounts of time.

During the 1957 World Series between the New York Yankees and the Milwaukee Braves, New York sportswriters dubbed Milwaukee as Bushville. The Braves won the Series and every Wisconsin newspaper had banner headlines screaming "Bushville Wins!"

Yankee has been a virtual swear word in Wisconsin ever since.

FYI, the term "cheesehead" was intended as a pejorative by Chicagoans against Wisconsin residents. We turned it around to a positive, unifying descriptive term and created an entire lucrative industry of cheese wedge shaped headgear.

Of course, we have our own term for residents of Illinois - who invade our resort towns, highways, lakes and parks every summer. In polite circles, they are called Flatlanders. In coarser circles, they are called FIBs or FIBbers - an abbreviation for Fornicating (this is a family forum) Illinois B****** (a person of dubious parentage).

I'm originally from Connecticut, have lived and worked in Wisconsin, and am now proud to be a southern Georgian. So I'm a Yankee, and a damned one at that by anyone's definition.

It is time to pull out E.B. White's definition:

To foreigners, a Yankee is an American.
To Americans, a Yankee is a Northerner.
To Northerners, a Yankee is an Easterner.
To Easterners, a Yankee is a New Englander.
To New Englanders, a Yankee is a Vermonter.
And in Vermont, a Yankee is somebody who eats pie for breakfast.

I’ve given Huckabee his due on here. I think Carson is a very accomplished person who would do well as Secretary of Health and Human Services, but I don’t see him as qualified for President.

Huckabee...I like what another Freeper said about him. “He should just shut up and go eat some squirrels.”

Be sure and tell the prosecutors that seized the router from the Walker campaign worker’s office just feet away from Walker himself, that it doesn’t exist. I’m sure they’ll be impressed.

Cruz is the most gracious person in the race. It is our job to examine the record and actions of the candidates. Based on the totally inept and unethical management of Walker’s WEDC agency, I don’t consider him qualified to be President. Character matters. Obeying the Law Matters. Honesty matters.

We need to be honest about where things are with all the candidates.

I’m talking about job creation. Wisconsin is 38th in Job Creation.

Dr. S did not say the router did not exist, he said it existed and was used during breaks for personal business to avoid the use of state resources for personal business.

So now you are lying about what other posters post. Why do you keep lying?

You are repeating liberal talking points by cherry picking statistics that make Walker look as bad as possible. Looking at all the statistics, his performance is ok, not bad, not great either.

The exact time that emails are sent is stored in data. Emails were sent pertaining to campaign work during office hours. The router is what raised suspicion in the first place and warranted increased scrutiny, eventually providing information that led to the convictions.

Dr. S. said the router was a “complete dud”. That “complete dud” stored the times and the data that nailed down those convictions.

Dr. S said "Since your bit on the Orphan Annie "secret" router is a complete dud, you go back to WEDC. "

He was referring to your attempt to repeat the liberal lie that it was a "secret" router and that it was out of the ordinary. When you failed (complete dud), you went back to the WEDC story which I noted in that thread that you sourced from the website "prwatch.org" run by the liberal "Center for Media and Democracy" which was created by John Stauber, not just liberal, but anti-capitalist.

The web is alive with current articles on WEDC. I’m not going to waste my time posting them.

At this point, a vote for Walker would be no better than a vote for Hillary. I assure you I will never vote for either of them. I lived in Arkansas throughout Bill’s terms a governor and never voted for him once, nor did he receive my vote for President. I like Hillary even less.

I hope we can nominate a Clean candidate, one not tainted with scandal. Walker is, unfortunately, Dirty. I believe he will eventually be charged.

Again, another talking point straight from the Unions, the Obama Administration, and the Democratic Party of Wisconsin.

Alright, I'll call you Cheesehead, out of respect for your passion. But realize that if I call you Yankee, I don't intend it as an insult. I know a lot of awesome Yankees (most of Mrs_Victor's family in fact). Please accept my sincerest apologies. :)

We’ll see what the GOP Prosecutor who voted for Walker says down the line. I know what he’s saying right now and it is not god for Walker.

The exact time that emails are sent is stored in data.

If the calls were not made during breaks (state employees typically get morning and afternoon breaks, not necessarily scheduled). It was not on Walker's agenda to look over all of his employee's shoulders. Like I originally said, a fine or a penalty, no reflection on Walker, who noticed and was hunting down the much more relevant crime of stealing from the veterans' fund. In fact, it was Walker's suspicion of theft that opened this whole can of worms as the independent investigation turned into a political witch hunt. No good deed goes unpunished, I suppose. The Dems and the Union thugs are bad enough. Your sanctimony on someone who is one 50th what Scooter Libby ever was makes you an enabler for the bad guys.

Go Cruz, despite some of your supporters!

The article I read, said one of the lady’s was convicted for using a personal cell phone after hours but inside a government building.

They are required to go outside on the sidewalk to make those calls.

Really? What is he saying right now? Lest you willfully misinterpret what I am asking for, I would like to know, from a source other than liberal Walker-haters like prwatch.org what the Special Prosecutor, Francis Schmitz, has said about Walker or the John Doe probe in general "right now" or in the recent past. Please give a source stating specifically what Francis Schmitz has said. The last thing I have read was about a year ago, rhen the probe was put on hold.

We need to be honest about where things are with all the candidates.

I am going to take your post at face value. You know, when Perry was running, there were numerous Texas Freepers who warned us about his own cronyism (highway) and government intrusion (Gardasil). The Arkansan Freepers warned us about Huck back in 2008. Florida FReepers dislike Jeb, and are mixed on Rubio. And yet, all of the FReepers from Wisconsin save one that I know of are really up on Walker.

I think you are getting a bad impression of Walker, and recommend spending more time on watchdog.org and less on Politifact and Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Walker's far from perfect, but he is an honest and principled politician.

My impression of Walker is that he is solid. He deserves a great deal of credit for weathering the political attacks which cj is anxious to continue, But I have to admit those attacks must be answered, although the recycled attacks were probably answered well a year ago when I was not paying close attention.
