I really love my watch, it makes things easier for me, no more running around to find my phone! Plus a lot of other cool stuff! It was a worth while purchase for me!

I saw a C-Span3 discussion about publishing, which featured an analyst who projected (among otyher predictions) that Facebook and Apple stocks would go up strongly. He predicted a $1 trillion market cap for AAPL.

But the interesting point he made was that Apple is a luxury brand, and by bringing out the iWatch it has broken out as such - it isn't limited to a single competency but might go anywhere.

Another interesting point (unrelated to Apple) is in today's dead-tree WSJ, where the point is made that Moore's Law is affecting Shale Fracking. It turns out to be a big information problem to steer the drills where they have to go. One thing and another, the article asserts that a version of Moore's Law is happening in shale - and the price of fuel is on a long-term exponential decline.

So, it just bumped a 52 week high. If I’d had the cash right then, rather, been able to tie it up for a while, I’d have grabbed the pre-split stock, enjoyed the ride, and been out of it by now. ;’) The market seems to act as if the stock is overpriced, but that’s usually the way it goes with Apple, when the up move starts it really gets rolling.
