Thank you for the post and ping. Hi, Slings!

My Father-in-law died in July 1996, and Mother-in-law went two
months later. Since they met, married, my husband was born in
England, and my husband and I went to England for our vacations,
we took their ashes with us and scattered them in their favorite
spot in Epping Forest where they used to date, many years ago.

Their ashes were ashes, though. No sign of bone chips or tooth
fillings. They were just fine powders.

We brought Hubby’s younger brother, Chris, and sister-in-law,
Glenda, with us for the ceremony. There wasn’t a dry eye among
the lot of us, counting Chris and Glenda’s children, both young
men.

There was no kidding around or joking. It was quite solemn and
beautiful.
