Online Commenter Warned About Josh Duggar Molestation Accusations 8 Years Ago

Eight years ago, Alice gave a thorough and detailed account of events that are nearly identical to those outlined in the police report that became public this week:

"In January, the whole family went to Chicago and taped Oprah Winfrey show... As you may have noticed, that show never aired and it never will," Alice posted before delivering the bombshell that The Oprah Winfrey Show staffers had been told that Josh had molested five minor girls. Alice then wrote, "Yes, this is the truth ... They have been investigated to some length..."

On the subject of Josh's parents Jim Bob, 49 and Michelle, 48, Alice wrote "They have lied and lied about their son to protect him... In my eyes he is a CHILD MOLESTOR. HE SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THE HOME."

“what did that tell Tamar? It told her that her brother could get away with rape. Should also note that Amnon, by raping Tamar made enemies of his brothers. Had he not done that evil the family would have been untied. That was Amnon evil doing, brought on by his own perversion.”

Yeah. I agree.

From Tamar’s perspective, her abuser got what he deserved even if it was not done legally or properly. Unfortunately, she lost a brother who actually fought for her honor along the way. So everyone lost.

I have to admit that when I was younger I despised David for what he did with Bathsheba. And I questioned how God could let him “get away with it”. But he didn’t get away with it.

The Bible almost makes Uriah unimportant, but David is still a great guy though an adulterer and murderer. Hard to swallow. Yet, God is the arbiter of people’s actions and hearts. We have to let Him be God. Some of these things will not be sorted out or make sense until judgment day.

These people sold their girls out for the $$$$$ they were getting from TLC. I sure hope it was worth it.

You are correct. Molestation has tentacles that reach out throughout the victim’s life, even when they have forgiven the perpetrator and moved along in life. Another difficult time can be when the victim’s daughter/daughters reach the same age the victim was when the abuse began. Forgiveness or not, the urge to protect and overprotect can go off the charts.

Of course he didn’t humble himself.

Instead, he tortured his sisters with incest jokes on the show. See:

This deserves its own thread, but I am mobile. If you deem it worthy, please feel free. Thank you.

Even if they all got therapy, the girls are at peace with what happened, the statue of limitations over, what could the Parents have possibly been thinking risking the possible re-victimization if this got into the public realm?

Oh let me give you some back story on that, something a lot did not know.

When Bathsheba was bathing with her maid? She was doing it during a time of day that it was known women would be bathing. It was known that men should be inside or away to give women privacy. King Dave was breaking his own law when he went out and watched HER. Post modern peeping Tom? Well anyway he calls for Bathsheba to come to the castle, if you want to call it that. Understand this though it was not a “request” it was an “order”. When a King called you, you had to come. Bathsheba had no choice in the matter, had she said “no” she could have been put the death for refusing the orders of the King. Do you realize now what I am saying? Do you realize what he did to her? He violated her. Then when she became pregnant he murdered her husband. It all came back to haunt David with Tamar.

Hyper vigilant and at some point they will have the talk with their own kids of private parts being off limits and why they can’t go stay with “grandma and grandpa Duggar” and uncle josh/anna. Better for some adults to have hurt feelings than risk a child’s life.

that is just it, I don’t even know IF the girls ever got therapy.

The parents should have known this would happen, hard to say what they were or were not thinking. Like I said have a feeling they were only in it for the money.

Rampant Pedophiles in Hollywood (homosexual) that MSM won’t touch. Corey Feldman and some other child actors have alluded to this.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2483502/Corey-Feldman-told-cops-molested-named-abusers-did-nothing.html

How many victims won’t get treatment/support go on to live ruined lives or possibly become predators themselves?

Time for the MSM media to get the police reports with the NAMES Corey Feldman gave police about the Hollywood Pedophiles (men, so they were homosexual/bi-sexual) and PUBLISH the report. I want to know who these “men” are. Are they still abusing young boys? Have the abusers gotten treatment? Were they punished?

Hypocritical Media. TMZ, Radaronline, InTouch?

The Duggars represent not so much Christian values, but cult values. They follow the Bill Gothard cult.

I don’t know them, so I would have to think that and they believed that they were role models. I don’t know? I have no idea what is in their head/hearts. I believe that the ADULTS let the victims, the other children and all potential victims DOWN. The adults also let Josh down if he didn’t get adequate therapy/education for his PROBLEM. Perhaps if their parents invested the money from the show in trusts for the kids, the girls can get additional therapy if and when they might need it.

It explains to me the need for one giant bedroom for the girls, and one giant bedroom for the boys. Harder for Josh to creep around, but still THAT isn’t any solution.

Then why that pic of Josh on instagram of him laying next to his sisters as they slept?

The allegations can be found online going back to 2007 or so. It was out there. It was discussed on a homeschool forum I belonged to, although many did not believe it could be true.

"What ever happened to God here? I’m just about the only one to even mention His name and His capacities."

HiTech, I say this with all respect to you, okay?

You really have a problem with arrogance. You constantly scold and point your finger at people and tell them how, when, and what to do spiritually, as though you're the divinely appointed authority here.

You're imperious and superior. All that does is turn people off. And when you're challenged, you tend to get nasty.

And, no. You're not the only person who mentions God here. But your excellent opinion of yourself, and the fact that you're the only one who has it right, is noted.

Seriously. You need a little more humility and a little less know-it-all-ness.

No, the quiverfull movement is simply not using birth control and allowing God to choose the number of children a couple brings into the world.

Bill Gothard is a cult leader, plain and simple. He had to step down due to allegations of sexual abuse by 34 young women. But the “religion” he set up is very heavy on legalism and on control of women. He specified how they could dress, how long they could wear their hair, etc. And a heavy emphasis is put on “modesty”-—clothes from neck to feet-—to avoid “tempting” the men.

You know, sort of like Islam.

Was that before they built the gigantic house that TLC helped finish?

Mom and Dad did NOT think of the victims and the next line of potential victims.
