No Injuries After Toyota Prius Plunges Into Pool in Mill Valley: Police

Police said no one was hurt when a Toyota Prius plowed down a driveway and through a fence before plunging into a pool on Thursday afternoon in Mill Valley.

Firefighters at first were concerned the Prius' batteries and the water would not be a good mix, but there was no electrical shock hazard once reported.

The driver managed to swim to safety.

I understand that sales of the thing are plummeting after fuel prices dropped, but, this kind of plummeting will not solve its problems.
