In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of Word for the Day.
Cozen
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)

My cozen is such a liar,
even though my aunt and uncle raised him better than that.
Nouning again this morning. A++

Nope, I’ll be sleeping.
Sad thing is that they’ve had these signs up warning of a road closure for about a month (target date kept changing). I was assuming they were finally going to re-pave the road, which has had a completely crappy section since winter. Not this past winter, but the one before.
Dang...a guy makes one joke about ...’eating more chicken than any man ever seen’ ...yeah, yeah....

sent it to my bro, he was impressed that something so noteworthy came out of western PA. I reminded him that he and I came out of western PA ; )
Faithful. Hmm. I know far too many who swoon for this new pope. I cringe.
LOL A+++
Mostly non_Catholics swooning for him, in my experience. what does your priest say about him?
We have remnants of rail line here going into the plant, but it fell into disuse.
Presumably as trucking became more capable, the need for rail decreased. Of course, until you have Really Big Things.
he said he was being sarcastic, that Texans think anything worthwhile comes from TX and so having this come from Western PA was proof that TX isn’t the sole source of everything necessary and wonderful.
Right. MSM was our first clue.
and non-Catholics of my acquaintance. I have a hard time with the Religion Forum, bc of the haters on there who never cease to rag on the Catholic Church. You’d think there was no scandal in any Protestant/Christian church ever. It’s the vilest, most anti-Christian bunch I have ever encountered in my life. I love Protestants, my own brother became a Baptist. I have subscribed to Anne Graham Lotz’ Mayday call to prayer [going on between Ascension Thursday and Pentecost] because she too is convinced we are in the End Times and she is calling out EVERYONE for their sin. They could benefit from reading her emails this past week.
