Jim Meyers is too gullible. I bet not a single FReeper falls for this.

Boiled down, the reasons are:
1) he’s polling decently (not great),
2) he’s apparently preparing to run, and
3) he’s got non-political experience.
#1 is primarily a factor of name recognition, as are all early presidential polls.
#2 pertains to anyone who runs.
#3 has really not got anyone anywhere since Ike’s quite different, military experience after WWII.

I believe Trump's campaign will shrink down to fit his humility as soon as candidates like Cruz and Walker make a similar argument for protecting the middle-class against Obama trade deal and crony capitalism.
Of course, establishment money might buy them off but I believe the opportunity is so big that someone will take it.

He says a lot of things that need saying, he also doesn’t need consultants to tell him what to say.

He endorsed Kerry in 2004.

He pops off without knowing the facts, people who follow him will have to explain silly claims he makes. he just said Saddam fought terrorist. It is known he supported terrorist in the Holy Land and plotted to kill former Pres. Bush #1 through terrorist attack.

He puffs himself up and says a lot of crap.
Remember when he bragged about kicking Kadaffi off his land? I don’t think he ever bothered to explain why he rented to him in the first place.

He'll make things more interesting for sure. And he won't shy away from debating a topic which can force the others to speak up. Not voting for him, but it should be a net positive.
(No longer a registered Republican, so I'm not voting in the primaries.)

If Ross Perot were not a paranoid dwarf, he would have been elected.
The structure for choosing a President is rotten and waiting to be kicked over.

The sarcasm tag is for wimps and fools. No FReeper is dumb enough to fall for Trump.
