I bet it can be considering 1) The Catholic Church doesn’t recognize and probably will never recognize that relationship and 2) it’s an oxymoron.
1) The Orthodox Catholic Church doesn’t, there are some congregations that call themselves Catholic which do.
2) Marriage generally means the joining of opposites, how are people of the same gender opposites?
