Blondie is overrated IMHO. 70's music was the Dark Ages. Blondie was part of the renaissance that was 80's music.

Martha Davis of the Motels was pretty hot looking in the early 80’s. And she had a great sounding voice.

There was great music being made in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, but if you were depending upon radio to hear it, you didn’t hear very much of it.

"This is the way I prefer to remember Debbie Harry of Blondie..."
But do you remember her in "Videodrome"?

Trent Reznor frontman for Nine Inch Nails looked about dead from drugs and booze. He’s now sober looks great. ..and has won a couple of Oscars doing soundtracks.

I know she took some time off to take care of her boyfriend, who had some kind of rare disease. Maybe that's the period you're thinking of...it was probably a hard go for her.
I was a caregiver for Mom when she had her cancer, it is very hard on people to do that. BTW, 1980's bump and bookmark.

Blondie was punk.
There was punk and new wave and they were the same until record industry marketers got involved.

“Still listen to First Wave”
What was “ first wave” “new wave.”?
I’m curious.

Excellent!
Never thought he'd make it this long. Guess Mick likes him better than he "liked" Brian Jones.

62 year old Patricia Mae Andrzejewski aka Pat Benatar just played a concert here in Portland, Maine. All accounts is the rocked the pier.
We are going to see a number of aging rockers this summer including the Beach Boys, Billy Idol, Greg Allman, Queensryche, James Tayler, Bare Naked Ladies with the Violent Femmes, Graham Nash, Peter Frampton and Cheap Trick, and July 4th Stars and Stripes Spectacular will feature Melissa Manchester.

Videodrome was one of the more bizarre movies I ever tried to watch. I rented it for my VCR back in the 1980s but had to turn it off because my girlfriend got disgusted by it. I vowed to watch it later but never got around to it.
And yes, Debbie looked great in that film.

That's Chynna Phillips.
She was the tall, leggy blonde, back in the day.
HOT!!!!
She has aged well.
Though Wendy Wilson isn't too bad.
