PORTSMOUTH — Donald Trump, if he does decide to run for president, said he will be a national security candidate, not just a businessman who has created “tens of thousands of jobs” over his lifetime.

“I don’t think there’s ever been a time when we were in more danger than now,” Trump said during a visit Thursday to New Hampshire. “This is the most dangerous time, in my opinion, in the history of our country.”

“What’s your trigger point?” asked John Tinios, a local businessman and restaurateur. He said Trump had considered running for president three or four times, to which Trump corrected him, saying, “No, two times.”

“I’d rather not do it because I love what I’m doing. I love my life,” said Trump, citing his business and his success with “The Apprentice” series on NBC.

Trump said he would make a decision by about the middle of June, though he said he’s already made the decision in his mind.

Trump is smart enough to know he could be a disrupting Perot and is holding back until he has a better than good feeling about winning.

Like a good lawyer knows the answer before the question is asked ... a good closer knows his prospect and how to handle his objections ....

Do you WANT it in green ?

There was a time I would have seriously considered The Donald for POTUS. But we have our man in Ted Cruz.

DT isn’t accustomed to playing second fiddle, so Veep is likely out of the question. He would be a great SOS, imo.

No...Ted Cruz all the way.

I am going to strongly support Donald Trump if he runs, for one reason:

(there are other reasons I like him, but this is the big one)

He SUPPORTS AMERICAN JOBS.

Support who you believe in.

“This is the most dangerous time, in my opinion, in the history of our country.”

Boehner/McConnell seem to disagree, so long as they can bask in the ambient warmth of Obama’s appreciative smile.

IMO things have gotten so bad in this country that there are only two people who have the force of personality make any significant change. Ted Cruz (My numero uno ) and Donald Trump (number 2).

Trump was so right in his NH speech when he said the politicians are not going to get you to the promised land.

I'm still Cruzin', but I agree with Trump's belief in America and I especially LOVE his line about ... "I'm the greatest and most successful builder in the world and I'LL build a fence that'll never be breeched" ...

disclaimer;
I've sexed it up a little ... but that's what I "heard"
