I really hate that Bill Murray got old. He was comedic genius.

You know you’re old if you can name them all and give a blow by blow of most of the characters they played in their skits. Not that I’m old or nothin’.

You know youre old if you can name them all and give a blow by blow of most of the characters they played in their skits. I think I could do that and I'm only ... wait ... uh ...

“I feel so old”
Last night, on the weekly cooking thread, part of the discussion revolved around kitchen gadgets. I wrote that I was really looking to replace my “Bass-O-Matic”. I started to think I must be getting old...

So many good memories related to that original cast. Allow me to recommend one of the brilliant Schiller’s Reels from that era: Don’t Look Back In Anger. You can find it on YouTube. It never fails to make me smile!
To: knarf
I have to wonder if you looked that unhappy.

Didn't follow the cult of celebrity much then and I don't do it now. I had a teenage boy hormonal crush once on Olivia Newton John until I saw her on television one evening obviously stoned and dressed like a street whore.
From then onward, I understood it was smoke and mirrors and never trusted them again.
