This is the pizza dough, resting, waiting for me to roll it out. Each little roll weighs 5 oz. I probably want 2 oz each for a serving, but this will work for a bit, and I can experiment a few different ways.
Notice the flecks of spices and herbs. Most of those are out of the garden today.
Gotta love that next-year hold over.

Only thing better than next year’s holdover is a multiyear holdover. Mr. Basil plant has been producing more than I use every year since 2010. LOl
Cute little pizzas Looks just right to me. Roll it out and make the pizzas, cut them in half after baking, That’ll be 8 servings of about 2.5 each. I like to reheat pizza in an iron skillet. Turn it on low and cover with a lid. Nice crisp crust. Or use the Micro Wave for softer crust.
My favorite homemade pizza combo - homemade crust, creamy pesto, chopped leftover grilled chicken, onion, banana pepper and mozzarella or other white cheese mix. Sometimes just a little chopped spinach or chard thrown in. I love banana peppers so much sometimes I just take long hits off them when I pick them. :0
