...
The biggest swells are expected to hit south-facing beaches Sunday and Monday before tapering off Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

No, not yet. It would be a good one!
Deep Impact may have been an attempt to make a Lucifer’s Hammer movie. It’s got some similar features (meteor, tsunami, end of the world)

Sounds like it. Those tsunamis from 2004 aren’t what I expected. Not a huge tidal wave. Just water coming onto shore and never stopping. I’m getting an anxiety attack lol. That whole wave thing freaks me out

“The Wedge will be firing!”
O gosh, I used to live in Orange County, haven’t thought about The Wedge in years!!!
Dick Dale , the King of the Surf Guitars used to live in the house right by the entrance to The Wedge!!!
And the Crab Cooker’s clam chowder was the best.
Memories, memories...

That was a great book. One thing that I would have changed, at one point a kangaroo is found that has drowned (it takes place in California), and the people are perplexed by its presence. I would have made it a Sasquatch instead and had the tsunami kill the last one as a kind of foreshadowing of the fate of humans.

Probably cause there’s nothing you can do. No running, no hiding, just death.

Always liked the Tornadoes. I don't know why, but I always start thinking about Fellini flicks when I hear them.
