I dont remember there ever having been any earthquaakes IN Michigan in the 2 decades I lived there as a kid,
thanks
We’ve had at least 3 in Michigan that I know of since the 1980’s. Very small, but you do notice when it happens.
We had a mild tremor in western PA many years ago. I remember the TV news lady interviewing a guy who had been watching the Steelers. His set was on a stand with wheels and when the tremor hit, the TV and the stand slid across the floor and tipped over. The owner said he had had a few beers and thought he was seeing things.
But while people only a few miles away might feel the quake, you might not. I didn't feel that tremor years ago and the drunk guy who did lived just across the river from me.
Google searching michigan earthquake history is surprising.
