Well Bendy, there was talk of the Bears wanting to trade up to get Marcus Mariotta, but the Titans didn’t want Cutlet, so there you go.
I don’t think the answer to anyone’s QB problem was to be found in this draft, outside of Winston and Mariotta, and frankly I’m not convinced that either of them are assured of being good NFL QBs themselves, Mariotta especially.
Overall I thought it was a good draft for my Bears, I don’t know about that 6th round pick though, another O-lineman? We still need more defense.
I can see another Tom Brady or Russel Wilson lower draft pick outplaying both of the first picks in this past draft; I think “Ja’Marques Russel-esque bust” when I see both Winston and Mariotta.
