He’ll probably get confused and run the oaks instead.

El kabeir took a few “bad steps” and may be the next out...
http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/91709/el-kabeir-did-not-go-to-track-still-in-derby

...which will put dallas stewart’s horse in....he’s come in late the last two derbys with long shots and finished 2nd. I had commanding curve last year. I haven’t even looked at tale of verve...

American Pharoah drew a tough post position for his running style.

“The outside doesn't really bother me . I just didn't want to be stuck down inside. He (American Pharoah) is a fast horse. In a race like this, you just have to break well, if you don't do that it's a problem. But he's a fast horse.”--trainer Bob Baffert

Will be at Churchill Downs tomorrow. I will likely bet the following:

Dortmund
Firing Line
Frosted

El kabeir scratched...not sure if tale of verve will run...don’t think it matters. This may leave an open slot between mubtaahij and Dortmund, making their trip out of the gate easier.

I agree a great break and it might be over. I also like

Dortmund at his post of 8

Mubtaahij with his post of 6.

These posts have also had some of the most winners.

Good luck tomorrow, I really do not to like these races with this many horses

Good picks...I like both firing line and frosted...so many good horses it’s hard to fault anyone’s picks. Good luck and have a nice time a the derby.

My mistake...from 8th (Dortmund) to 20 will move over one slot. So ap will be in the 16th gate now.

Dortmund was the one I was told by two of my most trusted (betting folks?). If I didn't have to drive a few counties to do it I would be betting too. I don't bet online or any of thing like that. Only like to use cash betting. But also like most Kentuckians, I will be steering clear of the crowds and watching from home .

Top of the morning!...great day for racing...I'm getting a full dose of "Kentucky" today ....first I plan on winning some money on the derby, then I'm going to see Kentucky's finest, Sturgill Simpson, live in concert. After that, I hope to see Paquiao lay down a Kentucky-sized butt whuppin' on Mayweather. I feel blessed.

I am going with my gut here and my gut has been known to be wrong (see my last season NFL picks...lol) but my pick for the 141st running of the Kentucky Derby presented by Yum! Brands is...

MUBTAAHIJ

Despite all of his negitives, the travel over from Dubia, running without PEDs (Lasix), change of diet, the timeformUS guys saying he can't keep pace, etc. I have a win and place bet on him. I also have a 1/2 unit place and show on FROSTED.

I have a few super/trifectas with dort, mub, frost, firing line, ap.

This may sound wingnut-crazy but I think Far Right could get a piece if he can keep up with the pack early, ...but I have no bets on him yet...

Good luck today!

He did. I’m now most concerned about Materiality ...we shall see. It’s a shame you can’t pick them all.

Far Right, can't help but love that name. I am watching a little from home right now. Frosted being the grey horse, I have to love that one a lot. Best of luck to you today. Be sure to do the mint julep too*. Old Forrester is the official Kentucky Derby bourbon this year. A sweet minty bourbon snow cone. Gotta love it. It even reminds you to bet on Frosted . ^_^
