Why is the Catholic denomination such an important force for the democrat party? Immigration and the Catholic vote.

No. We would all be dragged down to the least able amongst us. Except for the Cheaters of course. These would be the governing officials imposing such a system.

The head of the Roman Catholic Church made a passionate appeal for financial equality in the salaries of women and men. "Why is it taken for granted that women must earn less than men? No! They have the same rights," said Pope Francis Wednesday during his general audience to tens of thousands gathered in St. Peter's Square.

I dunno. Why is it taken for granted that women always earn less than men?

Why doesn’t His Popeness just make it official and become part of Hillary’s campaign team? He’s all but there, anyway!

Well, the Church practices what he preaches, sort of.

Since the 4th century, monks and nuns have been paid the same.

Nothing.

And I suppose if babies had to pay income tax like the rest of us, they wouldn’t be in such a hurry to abort them.

U.S. figures show women earn 77 cents for every dollar paid to their male counterparts.

The tired old lie refuses to die. Equal Pay for Equal Work has been the law of the land in the US since 1963.

Well, if women would stop having babies then they wouldn’t quit working to have children. That’s where these bogus “unequal pay” stats come from.

With all due respect to the Pope, he is seemingly ignoring Matthew 20:1-16, particularly verse 15. In that passage Jesus uses the example of wages to teach us that a person has a right to do whatever they want to with their money.

I’d like to hear or read Pope Francis’ exposition on the Parable of the Laborers in the Vineyard. Matthew 20:1-16

"The discrepancy is pure scandal."

George Noory had a guest on Coast-to-Coast this week who said something like "1% of the population controls 50% of the wealth."

George, like the pope, said, "That's awful."

But the pie is much bigger now than ever in history. A small piece of a huge pie is a lot better than the whole pie in the past.

Take away free enterprise, in the name of a spurious equality, and the pie shrinks very fast.

The Catholic Church can start by paying female pastors the same as the male pastors.

Oh wait. They don’t have female pastors. I bet that meann that in the church hierarchy, women on average are paid less than the men are.

I wonder how he is going to fix that?

If he has his way, female Priests, Bishops Cardinals and Popes will be paid the same as their male counterparts...

This is none of his business.
Pope-boy should have better things to occupy his time like arranging a Crusade against ISIS.

Time to spin the “What Will Pope Francis Say Today???” wheel. Will it be in line with Church doctrine? Will it be off the wall Liberal talking points? Will it make sense? The result is always a crapshoot.
