From the Pope's mouth to God's ear.

The head of the Roman Catholic Church made a passionate appeal for financial equality in the salaries of women and men.

"Why is it taken for granted that women must earn less than men? No! They have the same rights," said Pope Francis Wednesday during his general audience to tens of thousands gathered in St. Peter's Square.

His voice rising, the pontiff said "The discrepancy is pure scandal."

U.S. figures show women earn 77 cents for every dollar paid to their male counterparts. In European Union countries, females are paid an estimated 16% less than men, according to reported numbers.

Why is the Catholic denomination such an important force for the democrat party? Immigration and the Catholic vote.

No. We would all be dragged down to the least able amongst us. Except for the Cheaters of course. These would be the governing officials imposing such a system.

I dunno. Why is it taken for granted that women always earn less than men?

Why doesn’t His Popeness just make it official and become part of Hillary’s campaign team? He’s all but there, anyway!

Well, the Church practices what he preaches, sort of.

Since the 4th century, monks and nuns have been paid the same.

Nothing.

And I suppose if babies had to pay income tax like the rest of us, they wouldn’t be in such a hurry to abort them.

I notice how the agenda of Catholic Policy and Democrat Party are becoming tightly intertwined. I don’t like it. I want no connections to the democrats myopic and selfish crusades.

The tired old lie refuses to die. Equal Pay for Equal Work has been the law of the land in the US since 1963.

Well, if women would stop having babies then they wouldn’t quit working to have children. That’s where these bogus “unequal pay” stats come from.

It always has been, some people don’t see it because of the noisy but ineffective arguments about abortion and such.

In the end, we know how it goes, Ted Kennedy was a liberal lion for the left, a great democrat, a pro-abortion, pro-immigration giant, and Catholic royalty, it was his pro-abortion brother JFK, who is responsible for the immigration that has destroyed us, a gift the Ted guided through after his death.

With all due respect to the Pope, he is seemingly ignoring Matthew 20:1-16, particularly verse 15. In that passage Jesus uses the example of wages to teach us that a person has a right to do whatever they want to with their money.

I’d like to hear or read Pope Francis’ exposition on the Parable of the Laborers in the Vineyard. Matthew 20:1-16

"The discrepancy is pure scandal."

George Noory had a guest on Coast-to-Coast this week who said something like "1% of the population controls 50% of the wealth."

George, like the pope, said, "That's awful."

But the pie is much bigger now than ever in history. A small piece of a huge pie is a lot better than the whole pie in the past.

Take away free enterprise, in the name of a spurious equality, and the pie shrinks very fast.
