I think that Airbus made the same promise some years back when they started designing their aircraft to fly themselves,thus making the pilot a mere spectator.

I'm trying to figure out how they can make sure that all the pedestrians stay in their proper lanes and crossings and never jaywalk or cross against the light. Well, I guess they could make everyone Japanese.

I can see this happening in heavily populated, especially leftist oriented states.
But what about rural states, places described as out in the middle of nowhere? Where gravel roads and dirt trails are abundant? Places where self sufficiency means freedom. A place where an ATV, a horse, or even a John Deere tractor is a means of transportation?
The lefties continual efforts to limit freedom makes having a bad car crash look good.
