I would say that you have got to be kidding me! ...but, it’s clear that Jones is not a good man. This does not surprise me.
It’s hard for me to imagine how a man like Jones, being at the top as he is, has to try and fill holes in him with drugs, especially cocaine as he did a while back, and behave in a manner such as this.

I hope Jon Jones can look to his Christian faith as more than just a bunch of slogans he can use after fights. He needs to admit that he is a broken man in need of God’s help.

There are rumors that the fight will still go on. If this is true, the UFC is going to look like a complete joke. Just a few weeks ago, Lorenzo Fertitta lobbied the NSAC to increase penalties for PED’s. Crack down on steroids and legal to the general populace, TRT, but we’ll look the other way if you take every other illegal substance and get involved in bad hit and run accidents.
Well, personally I don’t care too much if someone uses pot. Nick Diaz has been a long time user and is still allowed to fight in the UFC, but I do object to cocaine use, and I definitely think that being involved in a felony hit and run precludes one from being “a champion”.
This guy is a menace. He’s not a role model of any sort. Get rid of him, UFC.
Apparently, Dana spoke to a reporter and said this:
“You forget that these guys are human beings, and people make mistakes.”
It really looks like there will be little to no punishment for Jones. Compare this to Miguel Torres and Nate Diaz.
Miguel Torres told a stupid rape joke on twitter and got cut from the UFC.
Nate Diaz called another fighter a “fag” and he got suspended for three months and fined 20k.
Oops, as soon as I posted the previous message, the UFC pulled Jones from the match and it will be Cormier vs Johnson.

Yes, people do make mistakes. I’ve made mistakes.
However, felony hit and run is serious business. That is not the action of a good man.
Personally, I’ve seen enough of Jones. I guess Dana hasn’t, and that makes me sad.
