Hard wired on the practice field. Again this has been seen before. And the number of QBs that have actually managed to retrain their brain and body after getting into the NFL AND make that new training stick in game is a very small number. The new stuff might be second nature for him, but the bad way of doing things was FIRST nature for, that’s how he’s been playing the game is whole life. And when there’s a defense in your face you tend to go to First nature.

Tebow hasn’t taken a meaningful NFL snap in 2 years. And the year before that he threw 8 passes. Basically he’s spent the last 3 years on the practice field. I doubt he gets time in the preseason. He’s 4th on the depth chart right now and everybody thinks his team is going to make a run at a 5th QB in the draft. That’s not a formula for being on the field during games, even preseason.

We’re just going to have to wait and see what Chip Kelly does. Kelly may keep Tebow on the practice squad as ‘a project’ which is still making the team. And depth charts are not all that hard wired in preseason as QBs can go up and down especially in the lower positions. Tebow should make things more interesting in the NFL this year.
