I personally think his confusion over what he is and who has been four years after he ceased to be America's Hero. That was quite a ride....when he landed the fanfare and notoriety was gone.
He pretty much failed everything else he tried thereafter... a few TV commercials and short lived series...and bit parts in movies that flopped didn't cut it.
The along comes the Kardasians creating sensationalism for money...they don't really do anything other than have mass cosmetic alterations and whatever “show” they determine will give them the next bright light.
Like with Bruce...there's nothing there of significance but the illusions they're creating for public consumption.....and it all pays and pays and pays....
