I am horrified as everyone is, but my scientific questioning mind always wanders, who would want to rape such an old lady, it doesn't make sense evolution-wise at all. It makes sense if you take evil into account I guess.

Yeah, if it was about sex alone, this does not make any sense. However, rape is more of a power trip than sex so the age, looks and so on of the victim does not matter. No matter for power or sex, the scum bums that did this should be locked up. Better yet, that poor nun should have had a shotgun or handgun. The perps need to be locked up.
