I've watched the weather here for 50 years; growing up we did not have haze at 30,000 ft for months on end.
Every day, it's like being in a greehouse, an obvious light filter prevents the full sunlight from reaching the ground.
The past few years they've turned up the haze a lot.
Spring - so far only 2 or 3 days above 70. Summers have been very cool.
Have not had a really clear day in a long time. Decades ago, had really clear days all the time.
What's really annoying is that they think we're so stupid we don't notice, we don't look up... because it's not reported on the six o'clock news - and the fact that what they're spewing up there is probably some kind of nasty stuff.
My guess is that most of the eastern US is in the same boat.
So sick of being lied to by our ruling elite.
“I have come to the conclusion that more people are more superstitious today than they were in the Middle Ages. About crazier things too.”
Very true. With more scientific knowledge than ever; we have more people falling for kooky ideas.
The internet allows people to gain a sliver of knowledge about any topic; and they think they are wise.
Plus many people are willfully spreading disinformation and half truths; because they know people are gullible.
An antioxidant additive is used in jet fuel - it wouldn’t seem to make much sense to add both an antioxidant and aluminum oxide.
“Ill see commercial jets flying leaving white contrails in their wake that disperse and disappear within a short time. On rare occasions, I spot, at a higher altitude above these commercial jets, two or three large white unmarked jet planes (no markings discernible through binoculars) criss-crossing the sky and sprewing out contrails that do no dissipate but spread out, as I say. Its very odd.”
There is nothing odd about it at all. The contrails become visible when they condense into ice crystals and/or water droplets. They disappear again just as soon as they sublimate and/or evaporate back into water vapor. How long the water is condensed into ice crystals and/or water vapor depends upon a number of factors including air pressure, air temperature, humidity, and insolation to name a few. The aircraft wake and turbulence in some circumstances creates temporary increases and decreases in atmospheric pressure along the aircraft’s wake sufficient to make the water visible and then dissipate again. In other circumstances, the atmospheric conditions are sufficient to make the condensation of the contrails persist for a very long time. In other words, it is an example of basic atmospheric physics.
That doesn't sound unusual at all. Wouldn't the mid-1990s correspond to roughly the time that high-bypass turbofan engines became widespread on commercial jets? Shouldn't be at all surprising that a different kind of jet engine produces a different kind of contrail.
That’s just it. If you re-read my post, I mention that, from my deck, I can watch plenty of commercial jets. These are easy to identify by their markings with binoculars. I’ve observed they have normal contrails, that is, contrails that dissipate.
However, sometimes, there other large white jets flying at the same time as the commercial jets but at a higher altitude. They are plain white, unmarked, and criss cross the sky. That is, they fly back and forth across the sky until their persistent contrails are streaked all over the visible sky like a kid fingerpainting on a paper. They don’t travel in just one direction as with a commercial plane going to a destination. There are no markings visible on these whiyte jets. None visible through the binocs. These leave contrails that do not dissipate but persist and spread out to form something like large bands of clouds that will block the sun on a day that was only a hour or two before a clear blur sky day. If you can explain what these unmarked white jets are doing, I might believe the EPA feds who came out on March 13 and said we at EPA are not aware of aerial spraying of chemical aerosols from jet aircraft. I put about as much trust in the EPA as i do in Obama. Funny they didn’t deny there is any spraying going on. Some time ago, I read an article in Popular Science on geo-engineering of climate that said aerosol spraying of barium and some other chemicals was proposed for reducing global warming.
When I moved to NJ in 1970 I was surprised by all the haze. Not a new phenomenon.
Well these planes certainly would have to be based somewhere on the ground where they would be plainly visible - and readily identifiable since they have no logos, etc per your comments.
Also huge quantities of “whatever” is being “sprayed” must be trucked in constantly. So look for convoys of tanker trucks.
Not to mention a large squad of people to maintain this whole operation.
That would be the best line of investigation.
Low level smog, yes it was greater in NJ back then.
I’m talking about 40 miles+ outside of NYC. North Jersey is about 80 miles across from GWB to Delaware Water Gap.
So once, for example, you got to Sussex county, you could see the smog sitting over the city if you could stand on a mountain tall enough to see it (a few places).
But if you were in Sussex county and looked straight up on a clear day, you did not see anything much at 30,000 feet, except the occasional contrail from planes, which, on clear days, were not that pronounced and would dissipate rather quickly.
I went numerous times to the Sussex Air Show and can remember clear August days with clear blue sky and no large amounts of vapor / dissipated contrails at high altitudes (30k+). Of course that would be a day for both looking up and looking at airplanes, so one would definitely have taken note of 30k+ alt. commercial jets that left so many contrails that they formed a cloud cover.
Given how much water vapor comes out of jets, both then and now, the only thing I can think of is that perhaps there is typically more moisture at altitude nowadays so perhaps we get more contrails and larger contrails generally.
I just don’t have enough info to determine anything to my satisfaction one way or the other. Hey, if there’s no diabolical plan, great. Also great if there’s nothing going on that’s simply dumb, but not a concerted effort.
I’m always hesitent to rule out stupid mistakes (it’s the only way I can write a good computer program, keep eliminating my own stupid mistakes until there are none left).
Well, they are at a higher altitude than jets you usually observe in binoculars. Do you know for a fact that they are unmarked, and not merely too distant to make out markings even in binoculars?
People only two miles away from the WTC on 9/11 claimed they saw an unmarked, windowless jet strike the south tower. They were probably closer to that jet than you are to yours, and they couldn't tell the difference between a United Airlines passenger jet and a military cargo plane (presumably).
That is, they fly back and forth across the sky until their persistent contrails are streaked all over the visible sky like a kid fingerpainting on a paper.
You know for a fact that these same jets are flying back and forth across the sky? Have you actually observed them, in your line of sight, turning around and flying in a criss-cross pattern over your neighbourhood, or have you simply assumed that a plane that drops over the horizon is the same plane that comes back up a while later?
These leave contrails that do not dissipate but persist and spread out to form something like large bands of clouds that will block the sun on a day that was only a hour or two before a clear blur sky day.
As I said, if they're modern commercial jets, that is to be expected: that's the way high-bypass turbofan engines work.
If you can explain what these unmarked white jets are doing, I might believe the EPA feds who came out on March 13 and said we at EPA are not aware of aerial spraying of chemical aerosols from jet aircraft.
If the jets are in fact carrying passengers from point A to point B, then it makes perfect sense that the EPA is not aware of them spraying chemical aerosols into the upper atmosphere.
I put about as much trust in the EPA as i do in Obama. Funny they didnt deny there is any spraying going on.
If one were inclined to extend the benefit of the doubt rather than view the EPA's statement in the worst possible light, one would notice that it is worded carefully to allow for the possibility that someone is spraying chemicals without their knowledge.
I'm not saying that the unauthorized spraying is actually happening—merely that it would be bad form to have gone on record denying something categorically that turned out to actually be happening. Hence the weasel words, assuming you have reported them accurately.
Criss coss, back and forth, like a lofty game of tic tac toe. I see what I see with my eyes and a binocular assist, and I reported it here. I don’t know what they’re doing up there, but I sure would like to know.
Any Chemtrails lately? I’ve heard reports that they’re not showing up as much since July 4th 2019. Anyone else notice this at all?
This is an old thread.
I have seen thousands of contrails over my home (about thirty miles west of BDL in CT).
Today for the very first time ever I saw what the claimed “chemtrails” looked like.
This is not ordinary weather stuff or I would have seen it many times in the past.
Seeing is believing.
