Yeah there are plenty of other issues that are far bigger contributors.
If pot makes people drive safer then lets get the airline pilots doped up and make the sky safer!
You do realize that Point #2 conflicts with point #1?
People go to bars to drink, then drive home drunk.
People go to a friend’s house to smoke up, then fall asleep on the couch.
If they have a bunch of fires this year I doubt the pot smokers will be so willing to take credit for that.
AFAIK, most people whom I have seen get stoned, generally don’t leave their home, or feel like doing much.
Of course, but the point of the article is that legalization did not result in higher fatalities, as anti-legalizers claimed would happen. It discredits one of their main arguments.

No argument there, but the article is not about driving skills and marijuana. It is about marijuana laws and highway fatalities.
